"lil' Jewel" is a tenor ukulele that was custom made for a client.  The request was for a ukulele with an Hawaiian theme .  The ukulele was made with curly Hawaiian Koa back, sides and top.  The rosette is an Hawaiian floral pattern in maple with black epoxy.  The binding on the body and the bound fret board are curly maple.  The head plate is curly maple with ebony inserts. The look is rounded out with gold frets and tuners.  The vibrant, lively sound is typical of Koa but the resonance and sustain produced by this little box is fantastic.
