PARIZONA Honduran Mahogany Tenor Ukulele

Honduran Mahogany/Salvage Cedar

A Sitka Spruce top and a Cocobolo rosewood body bring traditional beauty to this tenor ukulele.  The deep, rich garnet color of the rosewood provided the foundation for the name of the sixth jewel in the PARIZONA Guitars line of ukuleles.  "Lil' Garnet" was a custom request that sports Honduran mahogany neck and binding.  The rosette is Honduran mahogany with abalone inlays.  The ebony headplate has Honduran mahogany inlays with abalone trim.  A black/white purfling surrounds the spruce top and a black purfling defines the mahogany neck and the fretboard binding.  The result is a subtle but elegant looking instrument.

"Lil' Garnet" has the well-rounded tones usually associated with fine rosewood in larger instrument.  Excellent volume, and resonance coupled with clean, ringing notes makes this a superior instrument.  Despite its smaller size this instrument carries on the tradition of the highly sought-after beauty of the rosewood sound.  "Lil' Garnet" is a proud addition to the PARIZONA Guitars ukulele line of instruments.
